This is jazz-funk with a bang! Try listening to "Chameleon" while driving and tell me if you don't feel a bit like "Starsky & Hutch."

Who are you referring to when you say posers and assholes? The vandals who set fire to the churches or those like the singer of Gorgoroth who appreciate them?

I really liked this review; it does justice to the importance of this immortal work. This album is so beautiful that I give it a 5 without even thinking about it; my favorite is "Stray Cat Blues," and of course the legendary Sympathy!

You’re right about one thing, Hogart: Edge is not Lukather. There’s no doubt about that; it’s like comparing a Punto to a Lamborghini.

Very nice; the best are "dissident", "rearviewmirror" and "elderly..." (all three are 5); the other songs range from 3 ("glorified g", "blood"... ) to 4 ("animal", "daughter"...): total average ---> 4

40 euros or 60 euros, they are still thieves, since they have always claimed to be against the music business and its speculations, and today their live performances are not worth what they were in the '90s.

Allow me, Jeremy, but as a fan of Led Zeppelin, I say that "Let it Bleed," "Sticky Fingers," and "Exile on Main Street" are such masterpieces that even the legendary Led couldn't match them.

I don't think "A Bigger Bang" should be considered mediocre; rather, it's a good album, deserving of 3-4 stars. In my opinion, it's the best since "Some Girls" (not counting it). It features compelling tracks like "Oh no, not you again" and "Rough Justice," a great blues tune, "Back of my hand," and a fantastic ballad like "Streets of love" (even though they pounded us with Vodafone ads).

In an interview, when asked what he thought about the crimes committed in the early '90s by members of other Norwegian black metal bands (church arsons, etc...), the singer of Gorgoroth, Gaahl, replied: "I support these acts 100 percent and they should happen more often in the future; we must remove every trace of what Christianity is."
