Europe Prisoners in Paradise
Voto:
Good hard-rock album, beautifully raw, although it’s inferior to the previous one. Noteworthy is "Girl from Lebanon," stunning.

The fact that you don't know the name of the greatest Athenian sculptor and architect Phidias, mistaking it for a woman's name, says a lot... unfortunately for you.

The suite of "six degrees" with the orchestra is heavenly! Especially the overture! And vacant!! And Octavarium!!! And Metropolis!!!!!!!!!
Madonna Like a Virgin

"Why do the radio stations keep playing his songs?" The money from the majors does this and more, my friend. And come on, let’s not start again with the usual refrain that 1000000000000000000 people can’t be wrong because that’s not an indicative quality measure. Who the hell cares if it’s the one that sells the most? What does that prove? Please, let’s not say the same old clichés.

Queen News Of The World

The general public listens to what the major record labels offer them, and this rarely, if ever, reflects musical quality.

Look, I also love the Led, but how can you say that Fugazi didn't launch a style? In fact, they were very personal and original, which is why they go down in history (even though I don't like them much).

Sorry led, what leads you to deduce that the groups mentioned by Festwca are not part of history? Is it because they are not famous? I hope that's not the case...
Shadow Gallery Room V
Voto:
Good job Ocram, I had listened to Room V a couple of times distractedly about a year ago; you made me want to pick it up again and I discovered very interesting and unexpected nuances. "Vow" is truly extraordinary. This album is above average in the prog-metal field, even though it is different from many other products in the genre. I give it a 5 because it deserves it.
Dream Theater Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes From a Memory
Voto:
I understood the first and fourth points well; on the second you've misunderstood, because I wasn't interested in talking about harmony (in fact, I think respecting it or not is irrelevant), but rather in the fact that the elements of technique can be discovered in two different ways: either through structured learning or unconsciously, like an autodidact does.
The third point separates us due to a fundamental divergence; indeed, I believe that even singing done with burps or a bizarre way of playing any instrument (playing the guitar with your feet or using the trumpet as a drum) is still a result of technique, a strange technique that they don't teach you in conservatories but nonetheless a technique...
