Never listened to Toys in the Attic or Rocks? Well, if you think those albums are trash, it means you don't like hard rock. And Alice Cooper is a harmless clown in what sense? If by clown you mean he used theatricality to enhance the moments of his concerts and by harmless you mean a fundamental influence on heavy metal as well as glam, then I agree with you, but unfortunately, I think you don't even know what you're talking about...

What the hell does it mean that Aerosmith lives in the shadow of Led Zeppelin? This is an even bigger load of crap than the one about Pearl Jam. So, according to you, there should only be one band for every genre? "Yes are super boring," here's the proof of your artistic sensitivity, as well as the explanation for so many misplaced statements. The truth is that you throw dirt on what you don't like; it's a very childish attitude. Come on, register and write some reviews about some artists you consider valid. Maybe then I could take you more seriously.

Oh, you're not anonymous? You're registered at the registry as Kabubi FC? Anyway, as long as you don't register, you show that you don't have the courage to defend your ideas. What do you have against Aerosmith? In the '70s, they wrote the history of hard rock. You conveniently overlooked recalling Dedoluz's reviews on Yes, Area, and Alice Cooper...

AXL, you know that Appetite for Destruction was heavily influenced by punk? So don’t talk nonsense, especially since PJ have a minor punk element.

Well, in metal I only listen to a few prog bands (DT, Ark, Shadow Gallery, Sx, etc...) and the classics; mostly I listen to '70s progressive, a lot of blues, and tons of rock and hard rock...

I REPEAT: PEARL JAM HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH GRUNGE AND HAVE NEVER BEEN CONNECTED TO IT EXCEPT IN THE EYES OF THE MOST VULGAR MUSIC PRESS.

Can't you identify the social critique in Ten and VS? But it's obvious: the first album deals with themes related to the victims of the system, while the second primarily addresses the perpetrators of such injustices. Of course, if you listen with blinders on...

1. The majors have always pushed her to the unbelievable and they still do, and this is an undeniable fact; all you need to do is go into any record store affiliated with the big distribution companies in the period leading up to a Ciccone album release, and you’ll be bombarded by a myriad of posters praising her new effort (if we can call it that).
2. I said, "I hope you’re at most 15 years old" because I think that starting from that age, one should listen to something better than what MTV and the like propose.
3. The phrases "it's liked because it's genuine" and "it's the triumph of cuteness" perfectly exemplify today's society, soaked in superficiality and indifference.
4. You come to tell me: she doesn't have a great voice, the lyrics are trivial, and I add that she doesn’t write her own songs because most of it is done by the staff of people surrounding her. So why does she have so much success? The answer is this: SHE MAKES PEOPLE TALK ABOUT HER AND THE MAJORS CASH IN TO MAKE MONEY.
5. Just for your information, I’m 22 years old (so I’m not an "oldie") and I don’t just listen to blues but many different genres.
6. You said you listen to everything... Can you tell me the last progressive album you listened to? Enlighten us.

Do you really think that Sonic Youth weren't one of the main influences of Grunge? Because if that's the case, you haven't listened to many records in that genre; they were so close to that movement that, by the end of the '80s, they signed with Sub-Pop (the label symbolizing Seattle sound groups); moreover, several representatives of the genre have repeatedly emphasized the importance that the band has had in the evolution of their music. I’d like to point out that you said SY have nothing to do with Indie Rock, I hope for your sake that was a slip of the tongue... ;-D
Regarding the lyrics, I reiterate that they have the aspect of direct social criticism that characterizes them, in addition to the fact that there are moments of hope. Calling them cunning means not understanding anything about them, especially since they didn't care at all about being lumped together with the rest of the bands that the label arbitrarily grouped together. Personally, I finally believe that the grunge movement is not that fundamental in the history of music, whereas a band like Pearl Jam is.
