Art should not be understood, but felt; that is, if those who appreciate Picasso's paintings relied solely on their brains to judge his works, they would not be tapping into the primary potential of art, which is the subjective and personal ability of each of us to encode with our own soul and sensitivity the emotions that the painting in question conveys.

Of course you can say it wherever and however you want, but you become irritating and even more pathetic when you try to convince fans and those who appreciate them that it's shit music, because it's pointless: you won't be able to convince them; the fans of DT actually love the very characteristics that you detractors denigrate, namely the abundant use of technique and the pronounced intertextuality. Moreover, and this is fundamental, you must know that among their listeners, there are not just mindless teenagers but also people with a musical culture that puts you all in a pocket, so let's take it easy with terms like "fanatics" or "insignificant." This, too, is tolerance and understanding.

I would like to have the chance to see any concert (not just the PJ) for a maximum of 20-25 euros. I can stretch to 30 if it's something I can't miss, but not more. In fact, for single concerts it seems like a fair price, while for 3-4 day festivals it's a different story. Anyway, let’s not base our opinions on bad examples (Liga/Vasco...), you can’t compare those crude corrupt ones with a group that has never relied (at least in the first part of their career) on making money at any cost. In my opinion, they already have enough money to afford not to charge such outrageous prices.

Alright, let’s be clear: I don't impose what you should listen to, and you don't impose it on me. Whether or not we get overwhelmed by this group is your opinion, just like the one about all the albums being the same. I don’t ghettoize anyone for the music they listen to, as everyone has their own ideas and preferences. And just to mention one thing, I also listen to bands like Opeth, whose singer uses growl (staying within the metal realm, which is just a small part of my listening), so I don’t think I fit into your description of someone who only loves ā€œhappy metal,ā€ as you call it. I already look beyond my own nose without anyone needing to be my support teacher... More respect and tolerance, please...

But look at that, is one supposed to justify why they like a certain band... guys, remember that there is freedom of thought and do not consider yourselves superior just because you don't like certain artists while others do. The biggest mistake one can make is to criticize simply out of dislike or intolerance towards certain fans of a band, without perhaps realizing that those same fans do not expect to hear anything fundamental to the history of rock from their favorites, but only wish to have fun, possibly appreciating the referential aspect above all else.

Sorry Joe, but I&W was released in '92, so next year can never be the tenth anniversary...;-D

No, in fact, after that they declined, but those albums are seminal for a myriad of bands, including, for example, Guns 'n Roses; just listen to Combination… Sweet Emotion has nothing to do with Child of the Moon, trust me as a Stones fan; maybe Dream On vaguely recalls the atmosphere of Stairway, but the melody is different. They haven’t copied anything; rather, it’s inspiration that has led them to a personal sound…

Leave the Stones alone; they have a more bluesy and country soul. Then what would it prove that they were inspired by them? Does this perhaps diminish their importance or the value of their records? By this reasoning, no band would be valid because there's always some artist they draw inspiration from. So, do you automatically consider all the bands that are inspired by Zeppelin or the Rolling useless? Help me understand... That they have a superficial sound is yet to be proven, my friend: give me concrete examples of plagiarism or subpar material in the two albums I've mentioned. Reducing them to an imitation unjustly undermines them. Tyler and Perry had talent to spare.
