I forgot to write "to which the DT are inspired."

No, it’s not to provoke; it’s to show you that there are also those who don’t listen to them just for the technique.

"that they are inspired by"

Ah, and if you really want me to say it, I'd prefer the young fans to listen to the DT instead of Britney, Finley, and that irritating crew... at least then they might get inspired to check out the bands that the DT came from, learning something about the history of rock...

If you want, I can start agreeing with you so you don't waste your breath and I won't say any more nonsense... But have you actually listened to any truly technical musicians or not? Because if you say that DT are the pinnacle of technique, you don't have much experience in the field...

Oh sure, that's a truly massified way of thinking; in fact, in the clubs of Rimini and Riccione, everyone is a fan of the DT and only listens to prog. Yes yes, there's no doubt... also when I go to the multiplex and see hundreds of young guys in identical jeans, fitted pink t-shirts, and Playboy hats, I’m sure I’m facing die-hard fans of the DT... :-DDDDDDD

Hahaha! This is great! Now I wouldn't let myself be manipulated by the decisions of music managers... can you believe it? I don't even think that technique is synonymous with a great artist, and if I want to listen to something really technical, I wouldn't listen to DT, who are good musicians but nothing exceptional.

Ah, so superficial now... so you know one by one all those who appreciate the DTs enough to define them this way? Damn, I stopped thinking like that about ten years ago...

Anyway, you criticize the fact that we don't read criticisms, but do the ones I've written affect you at all? For example, that one about telling someone they have bad taste without knowing them and treating everyone who listens to the DT as insensitive ignoramuses.

Just to give an example, Led Zeppelin were a mass phenomenon in their time, just like the Rolling Stones, and this did not stop them from writing great music.
