Out of curiosity, what have you listened to from Banco? Is "Loffio" the only judgment you can give them? They're not a Nu-metal band...

In the meantime, I think that today there are valid bands; they are not many, but they exist. Some examples could be Porcupine Tree, Tool, and Opeth. These bands offer something original that, in my opinion, bands like Papa Roach do not. It is also thanks to bands like the ones I mentioned that there remains hope of finding something artistically original in the future; I also believe that it is precisely through the masterpieces of the past that new masterpieces can be created.

Mercy perhaps means that you didn't like me? Jackline, now I'm responding to you...

No, that phrase literally translated would be "may rock'n'roll live forever," but in practice, it is the equivalent of the Italian "long live rock'n'roll."

In the meantime, I didn't do it to self-promote, also because the Rainbow are very famous; I just mentioned it to explain where that phrase came from (which, by the way, I think is grammatically correct). I don’t follow your posts; it was I who mentioned Banco in the review of Linkin Park, and you responded with "Misericordia" as if they were an irrelevant band.

"Long live rock'n'roll" is the title of an album by Rainbow, a '70s band that you clearly don't know...

Would my situation be disastrous? In what sense? Anyway, you are so overwhelmed with CDs (which don't even sell in Italy, by the way... :-D) that you don’t know a band like Banco del Mutuo Soccorso, which gives me an idea of the quality of those CDs in which you are swimming like Scrooge McDuck...

No, they don't pay me. Music is a passion, and I love discovering new artists, but that concept is probably foreign to you.

I want to let you know that there are not only fools on Debaser; in fact, there are so many people with a musical culture that puts 99% of all of us to shame. So when I come to Debaser, it's also to learn from them and enrich my knowledge because I’m aware that I have many gaps I would like to fill, and I absolutely do not want to proclaim myself a music connoisseur; that’s just your distorted view of reality. Then there's the old, tired argument of "try to compose something new instead of just talking," which is so childish that you can't even imagine. What does that mean? According to this criterion, no one could judge anything...
