I have "Sailin' Shoes" and it's a great and varied work of classic/blues/country-rock, in my opinion one of the best 20-30 albums of 1972... I haven't heard this live album but it must be of excellent quality from the way you talk about it... perhaps it's the most interesting Californian band of the '70s, but I would also consider "Captain Beyond," "Spirit," "Grateful Dead," and a certain "Captain Beefheart," as well as "Tom Waits"...

Well, damn, you mentioned geniuses like Green Day, not some cheap stuff... but how can you say such nonsense and give 4 stars to someone who doesn't even know what art is... a little advice, listen to "One Step More And You Die" by Mono and you'll realize what deserves high ratings and what is crap.

I quote Stoney...Baglioni is artistic nothingness just like many of his peers in the bleak landscape of Italian music...

Well, I’d say everyone has heard her sing, she’s certainly not lurking in the underground... but what the hell does that mean? I reiterate, if I have to judge an artist based on whether they have a great voice or not, then even Aguilera and Pausini become great artists... I mean, let’s wake up for a moment...

Undeniable talent? What does that mean? She has a great voice, okay, but what does it have to do with art? For me, a band like Low, for example, has artistic talent, not a girl who just has a great voice.

@lariana: let’s not hide behind statements like “I should give that a 7, etc…”; the ratings are 5 and that’s what we base ourselves on; if you don’t agree with the reviewer and are madly in love with this album, then you can get to 3 stars, no more, unless you can argue why it deserves a 5, the highest available rating.

Oh Alessioiride, did they bite your ass? But even if you caught one, eh: 1. as for communism, reread my comments on this review and you'll understand how I think, especially since I vote for PdCI...; 2. my position towards the church is rather radical, given that I'm an atheist and deeply anticlerical (read my position on the review of Giovanni Lindo Ferretti and you'll understand many things); 3. I am absolutely against the Democratic Party. So get informed before you speak.

Nice, but I definitely prefer "Lock and Stock"...
