No Alfredo, I infinitely admire different jazz artists and many of the records I've listened to (both Bebop and Free-jazz) are a pleasant listen, and I would even say stimulating... However, for the moment, in the type of rock I listen to, I find more variety and expressiveness. It's just a temporary but sincere judgment that obviously doesn't exclude my appreciation for "Far Suite East" by Ellington or "Giant Steps" by Coltrane among others.. :)

(anyway, I've listened to a bit more than 4 jazz records in my life, I'd say at least forty.. and all of high quality, but if I have to listen to 8000 before forming an opinion, we'll see each other in about twenty years..) ;)
