Nick Drake Pink Moon
Voto:
Stunning in its simplicity. This Drake digs deep into the soul, corrodes it and at the same time alleviates it of the heaviest burdens... A unique emotion... Thank you, Nick.
Neil Young Harvest
Voto:
Neil Young is perhaps my favorite songwriter, or at least among my favorites. This album is a classic and has many timeless tracks. Young's poetry reaches one of its peaks here with his carefree pessimism. Legendary, even if not the best from the Canadian.
Tortoise Millions Now Living Will Never Die...
Voto:
One of the highest expressions of genius in the 90s post-rock scene. Jazz influences have never been so well received, nor have those from electronic music, dub, etc... a heart-stopping rhythm section and creativity at the highest levels, even in the realm of sound experimentation. Great.
Chick Corea Return To Forever
Voto:
It's a definitely enjoyable piece with delicate sound textures that only the musicians here can create, but beyond that, I don't feel like giving it the highest scores, as the influences of Brazilian music portrayed here, though skillfully, to my mind narrow the expressive range.
Yo La Tengo I Can Hear The Heart Beating As One
Voto:
One of my favorite albums from the '90s. Truly a staggering originality in the fusion of Noise elements, Dream Pop, and moments of Shoegaze into an end result of absolute expressiveness. Really deserving of applause... if only there were more artists like this...
Fugazi Repeater
Voto:
I'm revisiting this Repeater alongside the Argument and discovering new nuances and interpretations that I hadn't grasped before. Truly original, an outstanding group!
Brian Eno Discreet Music
Voto:
The title track is one of the most evocative compositions in Brian Eno's entire ambient work... truly soft and enigmatic at the same time...

bilquis, the fact that you call me "cafoncello" without knowing who I am just makes me laugh... let's close this matter, I don't feel like lowering myself to your level... I'll tell you just one last thing: you have no idea how many records and artists I have internalized, don't you dare insinuate that I haven't understood their poetry and their artistic language... "you will hardly be able to understand them" but how dare you? What do you know? Bah... really, I want to let this go.

"The absolute elegance of your thought" Wow! Sister Genevieve, be careful not to let it slip away, this man is a gentleman, he knows how to do it...hahahahah By the way, I assure you that I am aware of my ignorance, but I arrived at this awareness only after listening to thousands of artists.

I listened to them against my will, and they’re quite pathetic. But then satisfy my curiosity, what kind of crap would I have done? Bilquis, I don't feel like wasting more time discussing this, so please stop it.
