Senmayan, honestly, I don't notice all that much change in Journey's discography. This album in particular is pure pop-rock (or AOR if you will) chart material with radio-friendly passages all over the place. Journey hasn't invented anything groundbreaking; they simply create a canonized form of entertainment rock for the American audience. And I'm not surprised that so many people like them... they are a group specifically designed to appeal to the public with easy, catchy, carefree melodies. In short, a decent pop band with guitars, and that's it. Trying to ascribe a certain nobility to them in the rock scene only undermines what the intent of the three Californians truly is: entertainment.

I simply criticized your statement: "Voting 5 on a review without even having listened to the album...genius, I’d say...but please!!!!" because I find it fundamentally wrong...if I were to listen to all the albums of the reviews I've read, I would never finish...if you then talk about the possible prejudices that someone may have, that's a different story...

chinaski82, I didn't vote for anything either, if that's what you're getting at. I was just pointing out how your criticism of easycure was absurd since you don't need to have listened to the album to evaluate a review, because what you're voting on is not the merit of the issue but how the issue is expressed. For the merit, there's the vote for the album, which easy rightly didn't give since they haven't listened to it.

Yes, of course, for you Debaser has closed here. Just because a reviewer expresses an opinion different from yours, it doesn’t mean that the entire Debaser site, with its over 19,000 reviews (which you must have certainly read), is a pile of crap... but hide yourself, you idiot!
