Gastr Del Sol Camoufleur
Voto:
Personally, I believe that giving 3 stars to this album is cruelty... there are unique atmospheres and stunning ideas in "Camoufleur"... perhaps I’m the one being superficial, but I’m awarding it 5 stars for its originality.

Yes, yes, sorry, I'll start studying business loffology right away! =D
Mono Under the Pipal Tree
Voto:
In my humble opinion, Mono are a step above Explosions in the Sky (and many typical bands of canonical post-rock)... at least, I find them less reassuring in their melodies and a bit less standardized. Of course, they are inferior to Mogwai, not to mention the legendary bands from the '90s...

Hahaha!! Great Manliuzzo!! A resounding joke just to lighten the tension that silence creates.

The Mono are amazing!! Those little Japanese know what they're doing... they create a considerable tension in their pieces, even though they often resort to the classic "crescendo" (like Mogwai) from the delicate arpeggio to the final wall of sound. Great album. Among the leading artists of modern post-rock. A review that says nothing about the album... what a pity because there’s so much to say, even just for the imagery it can evoke...

Poletti, with the squad that Inter had in these years, even Paperoga could have won the championship; it's certainly not the coach's merit...

I prefer the rearranged version for classical guitar and cello. =D
Queen Sheer Heart Attack
Voto:
Listening to it again, I realized that "Tenement Funster" heavily plagiarizes the riff of "Powerman" by the Kinks (from 1970)! Nevertheless, I reaffirm my great appreciation for this album, which I consider the best ever made by Freddie and the gang. The only one that perhaps deserves 5 stars (even if not full) in their discography...
Airbourne Runnin' Wild

Copycat group of AC/DC. I don’t see the point... at this point, I might as well listen to the originals...
Arctic Monkeys Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not
Voto:
Well, of course, if one listens to the Arctic Monkeys, it’s clear that they become convinced that rock is dead. But just by paying a little attention to the excellent offerings of the alternative scene, you can realize that there are still great artists making exceptional rock records in an original way. You just don’t hear them on the radio, that’s obvious...
