@nero: well, if you don't want to understand what I wrote, let's drop it, it's pointless to insist.

@Il_Paolo: read the rulings of the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court on the Andreotti trial, and you will discover in great detail how, concerning the seven-time Prime Minister, I quote verbatim, the Court "has recognized participation in the associative crime (with Cosa Nostra) not in the restrictive terms of mere availability, but in the broader and legally significant terms of a concrete collaboration, developed also through the actions of Lima, the Salvo brothers, and Ciancimino, as well as in the considered interaction with the leaders of the organization (just think, once again, of his reference to the Mattarella affair), whose relevance in terms of the configuration of the crime is not undermined by the consideration that the solution actually adopted was not the political one he advocated, but the murderous one he opposed." And many other hundreds of pages of meetings with bosses of all kinds. Open your eyes and inform yourself instead of talking about scapegoats without knowing what you're talking about.

In my opinion, the civil/civic sense should be conveyed by the political class, schools to the youth, and partly also by the work of journalists... but directors are artists after all, and they must be able to express their creativity without their works necessarily being framed and cataloged strictly within the documentary or narrative genre. This film aims to denounce, by emphasizing its tones, a way of interpreting the management of power that is (sadly) all Italian. The director does this in an original way and with remarkable technical and visual skill.

blackdog, the championship may also be won on the last day, but we must remember that the great Roma has not been at the top of the standings even for one day... it must mean something.

I might prefer Aenima because it's drier at times, but in my opinion, Lateralus marked the last true evolution of Tool. Maybe not as drastic as that of its predecessor, but still an evolution. It shifts towards a search for the dreamlike and the symbolic... Then with 10,000 Days they crystallized into a cover band of themselves, but Lateralus still has something to say...

"I don't think I will see it, the review is enough for me"........well then, let’s trust the first person who passes by... I mean, someone decides not to watch a movie because so-and-so tears it apart, comparing it nonsensically to films by Alvaro Vitali (when it's actually a masterpiece of direction and content) and accusing it of not being informative enough as if the director's intent were that of a documentary... at this point just say you don't want to see it for your own reasons...

What the heck is the need to bring up the Beatles? But then again... is it normal that lately Coldplay have been at the top of the American charts alongside big artists like Rihanna, Leona Lewis, and Lil Wayne?? If I were a fan of theirs, I would start asking myself some questions...

Progressive-grunge??? What does that even mean? Bleah!! It’s a lexical abomination... but why do they come up with such improbable and useless classifications? Grunge is already indefinable as a genre because it encompasses everything and its opposite, and then to associate it with progressive, which is even more generic...

Why do you only give it a 3, lux? In its own way, it's an important and original album, right?

For me, it’s a big record, no doubt about it. It might come off as a bit heavy at times, but it also depends on one’s mood. In any case, it’s quite an original work, even if it hasn’t "erased the musical rules" as stated in the review.
