Well... in my opinion, this thing about idiots never changing their minds isn't always true. Look at Sgarbi: he has changed parties and ideas more times than anyone, but he remains a colossal idiot all the same.

Here he is, the man with the stony judgments from atop a fucking pedestal.

Beat and Discipline among the top 10 albums of the '80s? They won't even be in the top 100... come on, let's not kid ourselves...

I don’t know why, but I don’t understand this album, no matter how hard I try... I have an aversion that I can’t pinpoint; the fact is that it never manages to convince me... but I don’t delete it from the hard disk because I trust that maybe one day I could appreciate it... you never know...

Exactly, I quote Lewis, although in reality their last live performances, to be precise, were in the summer of '66, a period in which the sound quality of the venues was quite poor. To say that the Beatles were off-key is pure madness; after all, they were four guys who (especially Paul) had listened to hundreds of records from America and had built an impressive career playing in numerous venues, sometimes performing up to three times a day. Paul, in particular, was a master of both bass and piano thanks to the endless and exhausting late-night jam sessions both in England and in Hamburg. Unfortunately, almost always, recordings do not do justice to their talent.

To those who complain that Lateralus is too depressing, I say: listen to "The Mess We Made" by Matt Elliott and then Tool will seem more optimistic and joyful than a children's song.

Okay, I meant in the rock context, excluding jazz and blues (genres that had already been established for years) and singer-songwriters like Dylan (The Freewheeling), there was nothing good in '63. And I reiterate that With the Beatles was an excellent product for those times.

The first album by the Stones is from 1964. Anyway, give me examples of great non-jazz records from '63.

Neu! Do you realize that in 1963 there was nothing significant (except jazz, of course)? A "With the Beatles" was an excellent product for that time. Then, of course, much better came along, but giving it a 1 seems like a baseless Scaruffian critique.

The referees have also helped Roma a lot. Denying it is hypocritical. I remember Roma-Juve 2-2: Totti's goal was a clear offside; Roma-Napoli 4-4: Perrotta’s goal with Giuly offside + a clear handball by Mexes in the box (penalty denied); Genoa-Roma 0-1: a perfectly valid goal by Di Vaio was disallowed; the winning goal against Fiorentina was clearly offside; Totti punches Manninger in Siena and astonishingly isn't sent off; Roma-Milan: the first goal of Roma was marred by an offside from Perrotta; Totti tells the referee to go to hell multiple times and is never sent off... and there would be many more examples... so let’s not say that the help was only in favor of Inter.
