One shouldn't make a mountain out of a molehill. I was at the concert, and not all the audience came from social centers; maybe a part did, but there were also a lot of perfectly ordinary people like me and my friends who just wanted to enjoy the concert, regardless of any sense of belonging to certain groups.

Alright, now the discussions start about how they are sellouts and so on.. I just want to say that I went to the concert and it was excellent, very good sounds (for being in a stadium), they played brilliantly and had a great stage presence. I went there for the music, not so much for the content (which I mostly agree with anyway). If I’m watching a great concert and the singer tells Bush to go fuck himself, I certainly don’t feel uncomfortable, quite the opposite.

Cantrell is a guitarist who comes from the classic hard'n'heavy school, so palm-muting is in his DNA... that he doesn’t use it frenetically like the Bay Area thrash guitarists is obvious, but he does use it. I play guitar, and I also have a guitarist friend who plays in an Alice tribute band, and I can assure you that the guitar style of many of their songs heavily borrows from heavy sounds, even though it's a bit more original compared to the genre's stereotypes. I agree with Stoney (as always) about metalheads who listen to albums with a set standard in their minds, and if it's not met, like in the case of Tool, it leads them to say nonsense like “it’s poorly made metal” or “the distortion isn’t heavy enough,” etc...

I find it ridiculous to think that the Milan pool was a hideout for red communists at its core... it seems a bit strange to me that a person with even a minimum of reasoning would give credibility to such nonsense... but that's how it is, we live in a country where information is controlled by the parties...
