Of Popp's production, the highest rating goes to Systemisch by the "Oval," so it’s likely that what pushed him to include it among the greatest composers was that project, or at least the original idea of the album made up of audio errors from compact discs; in my opinion, he hasn’t written all the reviews himself; often he will leave the task to his trusted henchmen who may have slightly different opinions.

To call it unlistenable is an understatement... it's the classic album that you can listen to 40,000 times and it will always give you the same sense of discomfort, of inadequacy. A bit like Trout Mask Replica. These are albums too complex for me... I know you'll judge me as ignorant, but I can't help it... that's just how it is for me...

No, the reviews chart is still the same as you read it. But at the same time, if you go to the page of the best composers of all time (there are 91), you'll find Popp there. Moreover, he is also ranked seventh among German composers.

Oh come on! I understand they might be unlikable because they're often overrated, but a 1 for "Kid A"? Isn’t that excessive? I mean, a 1, the minimum! Have you listened to this album carefully? There are often prejudices against Radiohead; I had some myself at first, but then I decided to judge them objectively and changed my mind.
