Yes, the prodigy kid with the shredder touch, it's a very popular video but he's not using a Telecaster, it's an Ibanez Jem, the model of Steve Vai...

He usually uses his custom Ibanez model which, unlike his peers of the same brand, has a beautiful sound that is warm and dynamic; but in this blues record with the Pawn Kings, he unmistakably uses a Stratocaster as you can hear :)

Yes, indeed the initial riff is quite similar, but to be fair in hard rock it's very easy to replicate riffs that have been heard somewhere before... I enjoy both the early AC/DC and the classic '90s rock like Pearl Jam; the latter perhaps due to an inevitable nostalgia....*_*

Check out if you like this version of "little wing" by Andy Timmons still in the theme of Texas sound.

I get a lump in my throat when I read descriptions of typical days in Nazi concentration camps or the accounts of villages destroyed by missiles made by so-called "democratic countries"... and right after the "lump," a desire rises within me that those who wanted and devised all this may die in excruciating suffering... I don’t know, it’s something that comes to me spontaneously; am I insensitive? Well, if so, I apologize. In my opinion, we need to make distinctions... if a good and sincere person dies, or even a relative or just an acquaintance, it is a great sorrow for anyone who has come into contact with them and beyond, while if, for example, a son of a bitch dies who has only done harm to others during their life, caring solely for their own interests, then the psychological reactions will inevitably be different... I realize that talking about death on debaser, whatever the context, hurts after what has happened, but what I assert, and I don’t claim to be right, is that those who, in an ideal sense, wish death on a person who has objectively harmed and oppressed others (and I’m not referring to Fallaci but to other well-known characters from our little Italy) are not entirely to be blamed; or at least their behavior is, if not justifiable, at least understandable... call me stupid or insensitive, but that’s what I think, without taking away from the respect for the pain of those who suffer from the loss of a loved one; a pain I know because I’ve experienced it up close. I clarify, however, that the mere wish I’m referring to is solely something virtual that must never be connected to the idea of any justification for acts of violence or similar; that would be the last thing we need... anyway, you’re right about being cautious on this topic in this context, so I apologize if I have hurt someone’s feelings with any excessive comment.

Great Stevie Ray! To me, he is the best white blues guitarist along with Johnny Winter. Amazing phrasing and a great Texas sound due to his particular choice of strings and amplifiers.

bartleboom, theoretically you are right, one should not wish death upon anyone, but if you look at the consequences that certain opinions (in the case of journalists and writers) or decisions (in the case of politicians) provoke, I assure you that wishing death is far too mild a reaction. Specifically, I did not agree with Oriana Fallaci on her recent positions, but having written some excellent books, including the one on "Panagulis," I thought it was simply a case of senile dementia... and I didn't give it much importance.

Santamental is one of Lukather's albums that I have; it's a collection of Christmas songs rearranged in a jazz style with a lot of guest artists showcasing their skills... I don't see what the fuss is about... it's an album like 3000 others in the jazz-fusion scene, and on top of that, it has a quite polished production.
