I faintly remember her piece from Sanremo, quite pleasant but honestly it didn't strike me much. It's always sad when a girl dies young, no matter what she did in life and where she came from... however, the exaggerated flattery that led RAI to define her music, I quote verbatim, "an educated sound based on the contamination between electronic music and ethnic sounds from medieval and Celtic tradition" seemed to me the classic outburst of someone who knows absolutely nothing about music but wants to cover their back by praising an artist (as usual) after they’ve passed away... Valentina's music was pop, arranged decently if you want, but it remains pop, nothing more than educated music... otherwise, what does Jon Hassell become? Ah, and let’s remember that I haven't heard a single mention in the garbage of Italian media about the death, which also occurred last January, of the great John Martyn.

Yosif proves to be a great connoisseur, 5 for "History," for Pennywise and The Virus, and 1 for the first self-titled Led Zeppelin and Band of Gypsys... of course, it makes perfect sense.

Forget it, Gae, we're just a bunch of poor fools, the Pennywise are 5 stars and Hendrix is 1, trust me, he knows what he's talking about...x-D

I don't think MJ is exactly a mediocre artist from an objective point of view, I'm not talking about my personal tastes, since I enjoy listening to some of his tracks. Then why "people like that"? If I express my opinion that doesn't align with yours, do I automatically become "people like that"?

I know great artists, and Michael Jackson is definitely not among them... do you know the two I mentioned?

Oh, certainly if you compare Michael Jackson to Marco Carta, he will seem like a legendary artist... but if you compare him to a Robert Wyatt or a Nick Drake, just to name a couple off the top of my head, dear MJ literally fades away. Before using terms like "great artist," it would be better to know the GREAT ARTISTS.

Absolutely dispensable album of little value in the punk scene (not to mention in the history of rock)...5 stars? Please, let's not kid ourselves...
