I don't know the album, but I liked the style of the review. Well done!

Yes, that's Cat Stevens, anyway, it wasn't the ideas that had run dry perhaps, as London says, more simply there was the bank account that needed replenishing.

I agree. Wonderful album. The presence of the keyboards is superb, an absolutely perfect choice.

Isis... "learn the art and put it aside"... and they've set aside quite a sum, to say the least...

Well, yes, the fault of the other two is that they proved to be spineless, embracing the "cause" of Collins without a word. Rutherford and Banks had just released two excellent works of Genesis style like Smallcreep's Day and A Curious Feeling, and they surely must have been dazzled and a bit envious by the truckloads of copies that their colleague, the hitmaker, sold with Face Value. They must have believed that the right path was to change direction decisively towards Collins Street... oh well... poor deluded souls.

Everything is excellent and plentiful.

OK, from Trespass to Duke, many things had changed, but the differences were acceptable, evolutions and some regressions, yet always within tolerable limits. The focal point of the review is the stark gap that exists starting from Abacab with the more recent past. That was an unreasonable renunciation.

The review speaks poorly of Phil Collins (the one who killed Genesis), therefore, I vote for him big time!!!
Jethro Tull Under Wraps
Voto:
Great review, but I don't agree with the content. As someone who loves the old-school Jethro Tull but also adores techno-pop, I didn't find this mix too jarring. I understand that for the purists of Jethro it might have seemed like an abomination, but we were in an era where anyone not using a synth was deemed blasphemous, and everyone adapted to some extent—some with great results and others not so much.
