3 Doors Down 3 Doors Down

I'm sorry, Sid, I find GrantNicholas's intervention worthy of applause, and not just because it supports what I said earlier, but precisely because he mentioned bands that, despite being quite catchy, are beyond the reach of most. It's no coincidence that we have plenty of comments like: "3 Doors Down? Who are they?/I know one song/Oh, they're the ones who sing Kryptonite." In the melodic rock genre, which you may not fully appreciate, this is a nice CD. If, like Grant, we should only appreciate songs with solos reminiscent of James Hetfield, then we're falling into a classic "closed-minded" monotony typical of this country. Nevertheless, I respect your opinion, Sid, and I'd like to ask if there are any works in modern melodic rock that you appreciate (I'd mention 12 Stones, Shinedown, and Seether as standout bands)...

Come on Sid, let’s not beat around the bush and compare t. ferro to 3 Doors Down! You're not talking to some imbecilic kid who doesn’t get that this CD is “for sale”, but the 3 Doors Down are just that, take it or leave it. They too have dedicated themselves to “sweetening” melodies in the past, and I still can’t understand what’s wrong with CDs like these. I could give you a thousand other examples, from Shinedown to Theory of a Deadman, not to mention a good part of Alter Bridge's tracks! All bands with “easy tears”, say what you want, but these same bands know what they're doing. And while I can agree that Mark Tremonti (A. Bridge) can outshine these guys on guitar and they might lack a bit in originality (as I pointed out at the end), I still think it’s a GOOD work... I’ll let you drink the cup since you definitely know its flavor, and when I try it too, I’ll call you! :D Peace & Luv

Thank you all anyway for the critiques (when they are constructive). When they aren't, like over 50% of those mentioned above, well... I would ask how many of you have actually listened to the album... I mean, none! So screw you!

@ aristogatto: well, if those who appreciate the Valentines haven't outgrown adolescence, it means that those who listen to melodic metal, the chart-topping kind, are still kids... I disagree...

I mostly agree with you... but I confirm that in its "planned artificiality," this is, and remains a great job...

Alright, I wrote that "for me it’s nonsense," I didn’t send you packing, let’s be clear, okay? For you it might be crap, for me what you wrote is nonsense! I don’t think I offended you, and if I did, I apologize. After all, this isn’t the first review I’ve commented on, if I’m not mistaken, but this one didn’t convince me... anyway, peace and love! (and long live the Bullet!!! :D)

But! Well done! I'd add it's an almost human joke! ...Anyway, what do you think of Harrison Ford's performance in the movie? I thought he was good, but a bit too melancholic, almost emo. Anyway, I downloaded the film; maybe you’re the only one who spent €7 to see it in the cinema!
Oh, if you wanted to make the joke, it might have been better to write "Shit lake." Let me help you translate "lago di merda," because "madina shit" doesn’t make any logical sense... I almost forgot... you wrote it... you have to forgive me!
