This debut is amazing!!! Finally a breath of quality in rock'n'roll! I won't give the album a 5 because it gets a bit repetitive over time, but it's still excellent.

The review didn't start off badly; it's just too lengthy, really too much. I'll listen to the album soon; I'm a bit curious.

I only know their first self-titled album, which I didn’t think was much, except for the opening single "Breakdown," which I must have hidden somewhere. But your review piques my curiosity; I’ll try to listen to this album. Honestly, though, the first work seemed far below Nickelback standards; maybe I’ll revisit that one too ;) good review.

I would be content with an effect like "Radiation"! I will check out the live shows.
The Killers Hot Fuss

3-- for me on the album, which overall has never convinced me, but "Somebody Told Me" and "Mr. Brightside" are awesome!

Renegades (Feeder) Renegades EP

I wouldn't know, Grant, I think this time you've been a bit too soft on our guys! I definitely agree with you that "Time Goes By" positively reminds me of Weezer (especially the guitar), but I don't agree that "Renegades" is among Nicholas Grant's best compositions; however, that's just my personal opinion. If you then consider "Time Goes By" to be the best track on the EP, it would rightly top "Renegades" and thus be in the top of the top pieces ever composed by Feeder! As for the rest, I find "Barking Dogs" to be an almost adequate piece. To conclude, I hope that Feeder return to being Feeder and that the Renegades are just a "safety valve," as you rightly said, because the more "raw" sounds of the past, in my opinion, are irreplaceable; I'm referring to "Polythene."

I have the original! :D (But I use the burned copy in the car, you know how it is...) I'm convinced that as soon as you taste the album, you'll understand my 4 stars, or balls!

@ X EVERYONE: I meant to say melodic hardcore influences (think of We Are Godzilla, You Are Japan or Burn, Burn)...

@ COOLORAS: I recommend listening to it, reminding you, as I did about 2 years ago, to check out the demo "Here Come The Party," if you can find it :D
