Many artists (Wright, Crosby, Nash, Manzanera) alongside David Gilmour for an album that may or may not please, but remains of remarkable refinement. An album made by those who no longer have anything to prove to anyone, for an audience that, even in 2006, can have the chance to listen to a six-string like this, without expecting the usual masterpieces to which we had grown accustomed. The horn, the percussion, and the subdued voice of Robert Wyatt in "Then I close my eyes" elevate the tones of the album. It’s a "calm" album, because here no one pretends to rock out; there’s the tranquility of Castellorizon, the relaxation of a sixty-year-old Englishman on an island. P.S.: I recycled an old comment of mine, so please don’t hold it against me.

And for this, you give a 1? And why do you always write in uppercase?

Once and for all: just because it's a classic from the '80s doesn't mean anything. I get your point, but the track remains the most trivial of Pink Floyd.

BarretT with two T's, and the year was not 79, but 75, precisely on June 5th. I would think 300 times before mentioning him in this review.
