I've never made fun of someone because I considered them "less skilled" at writing reviews.
Jethro Tull Thick As A Brick

Scaruffi gets on my nerves because he says the only rock album worth listening to is Trout Mask Replica! If we happen to agree on certain things, what can I do about it? It's not like I'm going to change my opinion just because he thinks like me.. anyway, what were you referring to?

Because what does Scaruffi say?
Jethro Tull Stand Up

MMM they sounded like chords I had heard before

Yes, I noted the Flaming Lips in my notebook... as soon as I can, I'll let you know.

fantasy in today's music? I'm glad you see it that way!
Dear ocram, I don't like blueberries and the cannons... well, it's been more than a week that they are running low :-)

I had thought about a smogmagica, but for now I'm preparing a treat for the die-hard fans of the legendary Pink Floyd!

I didn't think I was likable, I was just nervous. The reason is precisely this, the nervousness that certain reviews, certain groups, certain contemporary clichés, and some insignificant comments stir in me :-)
Iron Maiden A Matter Of Life And Death
Voto:
I don't think that today an album from Maiden would bring anything new to the metal scene; in fact, I believe that so-called classic metal is a genre that's been over for a while, regardless of the undeniable skill of some bands. Instead, I think many innovations can be found in a genre that's still fresh like prog-metal: bands like Symphony X, Circus Maximus, Porcupine Tree, and many others prove to be the most valid today, and perhaps not only in the metal field.

To understand the value of an album, it is essential to fully consider its historical and, if you will, social context... My personal impressions may be valued, but (almost) no one will consider them fundamental for understanding an album.
