I said that I can do without it, not that everything is to be thrown away! Right, zaireeka!

Are they struggling financially? The members of one of the largest groups ever, the Soft Machine, have struggled for years, and perhaps are still struggling! Shut up, you’re an idiot for making it about money!

I think you call yourself a know-it-all but you don't know a damn thing! Go listen to Red Krayola or the 13th Floor Elevators or Brainticket or Quatermass or High Tide or Focus or Can and you'll understand what music means.

zaireeka is not my age that makes me categorical, but today's society.

And then I didn't say that I discard everything after '77, I said that I do like some of it, but we could definitely do without it. And I repeat, from that year onward the music produced was mostly invalid, it's a wedge.

know-it-all a good part of the characters you mention go in the toilet... Except for Rush, Tool to some extent, of course Porcupine Tree and Dream Theater, Fates Warning to some extent, (Dire Straits and Mars Volta and Pere Ubu and Savatage in a very small part)

and let’s not get into these metaphysical and abstract discussions, come on!

Oh no? Perhaps not technically perfect, but when it came to immersing yourself in certain mental states, it was unique, more than perfect!

Come on, don't we realize it? It's not rock that's coming to an end, it's music. '77 is the wedge!

If you listen to those people, you become tiresome as well. There are artists I don’t like, but I admit their talent, like, I don’t know, Opeth, or David Bowie, or Brian Eno. Then there are others who are overrated, and in my opinion, Radiohead are among them, as well as U2 or Nirvana. I am convinced that if someone started listening to music from Bob Dylan to set a starting point, they wouldn’t have any reason to go beyond 1977. If I listen to Porcupine Tree and very few other recent bands, it’s because I find them talented, innovative, capable, technical, and at times original, but I could easily do without them. And if you like Radiohead, I’ll tell you that I also like Pooh, but that doesn’t mean I consider them artists.
