I'm not arrogant, I just remembered it incorrectly. I try not to make mistakes; if it happens, I can only admit it. I'm sorry.

While punk has only two or three chords, the V.U. expanded the conversation with a dark interpretation of the psychedelic folk-rock of the 13th Floor Elevators. Still, nothing extraordinary, if they hadn’t had an avant-garde genius like Cale, a rather original voice like Nico, and, let’s be honest, a boost from Warhol.

Please Mopaga, the cords are not lacking.
Pino Daniele Napule E' (canzone)

This rant alone is enough to nullify Daniele's excellent collaborations with Senese and company. The musical gaps want to be compensated with the lyrics. Perhaps poetry, certainly not music.

That the V.U. were punk is a damned cliché. They should be considered punk for their ideals, for certain anticipations of the times, but still for the edges. Their music is to punk what Thelonious Monk is to rap.

The blasphemy about the V.U. should be removed by those who manage the site, thank you.

Sure, here’s the translation:
Yeah, okay, now you tell me which bands I should like. I’ll repeat for the umpteenth time that there’s undoubtedly some good stuff from the 80s and 90s, but it’s less and far inferior as well as less original. I reaffirm without a doubt the statement from my last post. And here I stop. Ajeje, if you want to give me some tips on lesser-known kraut bands, I’d really appreciate it.
