The problem, dear Lord, is just one: finding in A Saucerful of Secrets, Ummagumma, Atom Heart Mother, Meddle, and the reviewed Live at Pompeii elements that could justify a negative judgment on the album or the band is what I am waiting for.

and no one ever bombed me, I listened and judged, praised or despised. And for me, there are really very few untouchable bands among the more commercial ones; maybe she deals with people who drool only for Maiden or only for U2 or only for Michael Jackson or only for Vasco Rossi and thinks she can tell us this, adding us to her list. Well, she’s mistaken, as far as I’m concerned, after getting to know Pink Floyd, I sought out as many artists as I could, and I discovered interesting things without being bombarded by anyone! Did I get screwed???

It seems to me that the suites by Pink Floyd were made both with Columbia and with Harvest. The first "artistic cancellation" (as you like to say) that Pink Floyd experienced was simply due to Barrett's departure. The second began with Dark Side, partly for the reasons you mention, but until then (up to '72) no one can claim they had masters. It's pointless for you to climb up on the mirrors, tell me what these residents have that's more than the Floyd's 68/71!

And then, Sanjuro, let’s try not to stray from the topic: we’re talking about a live performance from '71, and while we can generalize and move on to that period, to post-Barrett Pink Floyd, or even to the Beatles, why the hell are you bringing up those later groups? Are you telling us that The Wall makes you as sick as Michael Jackson? Or that the Residents are the children of Orpheus? Well then, this is not the page for you.

And it wouldn't be fair, dear sorciopeloso, because in this way only the best reviews would exist, excluding everyone who simply wants to express their opinion. In my opinion, the editors should take action, but more for the form than the content. Otherwise, let's keep debaser as it is. I feel like I've written more than just a simple post, not a classic review, but still opinions on this album.
