To be honest, I prefer this album and Selling England by the Pound over The Lamb Lies Down and A Trick of the Tail. What's wrong with Selling?

How idiotic NickGhostdrake's comment is; this music may not be to everyone's taste, but it remains among the most noble. Congratulations again to enrybaxx.

Thank you for the advice. In my opinion, this kind of review is the best.

Enough with Scaruffi: he’s someone with a lot of confusion in his head. If he really has listened to all those albums, he mixes a ton of bullshit with a lot of truth. Only people with a certain expertise, mostly musicians, can read him and distinguish the lies from the truths. To a listener or a critic, his take would only create confusion. And I don’t understand how you all can take him into account, given that he claims there’s only one rock album worth listening to, a statement far more serious than all those made in these posts, but in the end, it always comes back to him, damn it.

If they don't listen to them, I don't care, but if they criticize them for no reason, I call them idiots. And what about your parents?

I knew you would pick up on the most critiquable aspect of my post... well, now reread the rest, and if you've done that, tell me what you would do to convince someone to reevaluate two masterpieces, besides obviously listening to them carefully again and not letting themselves be defeated by prejudices. I just wanted to say that I'm not stupid enough to call someone an idiot unless there's a real reason to do so, such as calling Barrett's masterpieces trash. Who am I to put into words what Barrett has done in music? Nobody, in his presence, so if you haven't had the pleasure and honor of appreciating such records, that's your loss, and as much as you might dislike them, you would be the ones making fools of yourselves by labeling them trash.

It matters, dear pirletti, because I can at least notice the obvious things.

No, my intuition tells me that I’m not dull. And I’ve always felt good when I’ve followed my intuition. Without boasting, since it would be pointless with people I don’t know, I have an IQ of 151 and I believe I’m perfectly capable of calling someone an idiot for claiming that "Barrett" and "Madcap Laughs" are trash, because those albums express his genius perhaps even more than The Piper, but we focus on the recording flaws or the rants of a paranoid and fail to look beyond. We are the masses that don’t understand geniuses; we are the ones who can’t protect ultimately fragile people and, above all, we can’t admit their actual worth. Yet somehow, we are able to predict that the Pink Floyd with Barrett would have faded away and couldn’t conceive masterpieces like The Wall!! (this is absurd!) History gives you reason??? Reason about what??? About the fact that I contested you, namely that his two solo works cannot possibly be considered trash; there’s no story that justifies that claim. That’s why I called you an idiot. No fight, just a simple statement. And the other nonsense you say is that they had already faded with "A Saucerful of Secrets," yet you consider The Wall a masterpiece… it seems contradictory, just nonsense, indeed. I repeat, no fight; I’d call my best friend an idiot too if he made a similar claim.

What do you know, August, about the cultures I've lived and the travels I've taken? On top of that, you're also arrogant. Donjunio, your arguments so far seem the most reasonable to me; tonight I will respond to you.
