You know, I don't understand a damn thing about painting or cinema. In the previous post, I was referring to the aesthetics and technique of PRoGMEtal and the meaning it should have in the context of the '90s. Certainly, aesthetics didn't dominate at the end of the '60s; at least it was original, passionate, and had a clear purpose, a spirit of change that was in the air, not banal, distorted rehashes of what came before (nothing).
