Pretà the Porcupine Tree succeed in their attempt to create engaged music, while Ace of Base succeed in making carefree music.

On my musical bases and after listening to this album and another one even more insignificant than this. I prefer lighthearted music to them. Finished with the little questions, or do you want to bear with me a little longer?

Is it rock? Even Ligabue, Vasco Rossi, and Oasis are rock. Before embarking on a musical career, one should understand whether it's worth being pretentious, and succeeding, like Porcupine Tree; otherwise, one might as well settle for something less demanding, like Africa Unite or Ace of Base, and then the criticisms wouldn't hold. You are free once again to not stand me.

I have only listened to the collaboration with Fripp and a bit of Japan. I need to explore more.

A worn-out and cliched rock, banal and absolutely neither technical nor original, that I don't like and doesn't give me any positive feeling, and above all, incomparable to what I listen to. The rock I listen to is of a completely different kind. You're free to not stand me.

The genre they make, obviously. The rock I listen to is of a completely different kind. You are free to not tolerate me.

Larrok what do you want???? I didn't talk about prog or kraut, and anyway I'm of a different kind. Please. Don’t be like that other one who takes the words out of my mouth without me having said them.

I'm not interested in either Jesus Lizard or Soundgarden, not at all. I've already made my case elsewhere about the futility of striving for certain goals. The same goes for an excellent review that praises, say, Vasco Rossi: the effort put into writing it doesn't justify the final outcome in my opinion, and it deserves a 1. And I'm not narrow-minded: from that period, I like Queensryche, Fates Warning, Porcupine Tree, Dream Theater, some thrash, a few singer-songwriters, even some dance, and not much else.. lol

I find your reviews too pompous, but there is no lack of ideas.
