I listened to "electric gipsy" and I liked it quite a bit. The rating is between 3 and 4.

My consideration regarding the lights and all the surrounding elements had nothing to do with the musical content, which should be judged, I repeat, without being influenced by the staging; this seems clear to me. Continuing the discussion on the matter, even though it may not concern music and is therefore surely unwelcome to you (as you make me understand) in the context of debaser, it's important to remember that the evolution of the Pink Floyd stages has always been ongoing, reaching a level that has very little to do with the concerts of UFO, even if it is descended from them. This does not aim to underline the psychedelia of modern Pink Floyd, which is almost entirely absent, but only to keep pace with the music expressed by the band. Of course, there are certainly "cons" from a strictly musical point of view, dubious and commercial tracks like "Learning to Fly" and "What Do You Want From Me" (even if gritty and well-executed), the commonly frowned upon attempt to recreate "Astronomy Domine" or the whole of Dark Side, some critiques of Mason, who has undoubtedly lost precision, but there are also and especially the "pros": a Gilmour like this, a style that never shows signs of wear, a Wright who, contrary to common belief, manages to stand out well, the impeccable performances of most songs, even from Dark Side, the excellent contribution of the musicians and backing vocalists, the always magical atmospheres, albeit different from those of the post-Barrett era, in which they masterfully manage to envelop the listener, but above all, the value and beauty of some tracks that go beyond the simple live context. Obviously, if you don't appreciate "A Momentary Lapse of Reason" and "The Division Bell," you won't appreciate the Pink Floyd of that period either. And I really don't want to discuss these two albums because everyone will remain with their own convictions and will have nothing constructive to learn from each other (or at least, so far I have completely disagreed with almost all your posts that I've come across, and from that I could deduce this).

No topic, easycure, just concrete things: to demonstrate not the uncontrollable beauty, but certainly a debaserian 5, it would be enough with just Confortably Numb, by the 3, 4, 5 or 6 whoever they are, alone superior to hundreds of records that here on debaser have received a 5. No one has spoken of uncontrollable beauty, only you.
