Luchezard, I replied to you on the other review of Ys.

Henry, it seems to me that you already criticized Ys from the Balletto, now this as well... can you give me an explanation?

sorciopeloso, I'm not responding to you simply because it's a topic I've discussed in many other reviews, and moreover, it's a topic I never deal with pleasure... I've already expressed my thoughts on it, and I've said it multiple times... this makes me feel at peace with my conscience.. go check my personal comments and you will find the answer.

Indeed, the album is good and it's pleasant to listen to, but it has many debts... the review is a bit too... I don't know... a 4 for effort.

Orwell... would the Yes be useless? What do you listen to? Mozart? Ravel? Stravinsky?

No OldKing, I don't agree with you.. I can accept that FOR YOU Hammill is the best PROG musician of the modern era, but PROG, not absolute, come on!!! And then, prog or not prog, Nine Feet Underground has a whole different depth compared to Supper's Ready, and it flows even better.
Porcupine Tree Deadwing

no lux those are my favorite genres, but it’s not like I don’t like anything else... sure, a big part of punk doesn’t really appeal to me... but what does that have to do with anything? I think it's not fair to criticize a band like PT in this way; sure, Deadwing isn’t anything exceptional considering PT's capabilities, but it’s still a great album when evaluated against the current musical scene, even the prog-metal one that has been a bit dormant lately... are they losing fans? Well, I can say that just as they are losing some, they are gaining others; I know many prog-metal enthusiasts who prefer these recent works over the more psychedelic earlier ones... Wilson's skill is also in this.

if wilson is not a genius, he's pretty close...and anyway, I repeat, he's one of the most valid artists today...unfortunately, there is so much ignorance and many people are unaware of porcupine tree..I just hope that these reviews and a continuous word of mouth give the right fame to a group of such greatness..don't hate meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
