You KNOW EVERYTHING, while I've only limited myself to saying what I like about De Gregori. I know him, and what he's done doesn't please me that much; in fact, I hate some of it, but you always lead the reasoning where you want, you're ambiguous and you want to be provocative. Listen to your dozens of little songs, and learn humility.

Okay, you like how he writes, he's more balanced than many of us, but what was the point of bringing him up before? Why mention him? You know, I thought he was supposed to get you a job, you say that's not the case, so either you think you can win his admiration or you believe you're the only one who realizes his talent, or else why bring him up? Just to fill the air? And why wouldn't I know a damn thing about De Gregori? Why do you consider as masterpieces albums that I find average? Why do you prefer the De Gregori after Buffalo Bill from this collection that gathers the best of Rino Gaetano? I only save Raggio di sole, Pane e castagne, San Lorenzo, la storia, and very little else from De Gregori post '76, but what does that matter to you? These are my tastes. Rather, what do you think of this double album by Rino Gaetano?

Well, after you have joined those who would like to kiss Grassoppher's ass, know that I am not a fan of any singer-songwriter. I really like De Andrè and Battiato, but I am not really a fan of theirs. I didn't even say that Rino Gaetano is better than De Gregori, since I consider the first 4 albums of De Gregori (excluding the one with Venditti) to be excellent albums, while Rino Gaetano has only made excellent songs. However, allow me to say that there is absolutely no comparison between the artists I mentioned and the post-Buffalo Bill De Gregori, of whom I save 3 or 4 songs over about 30 years. I am not making any ridiculous challenges, but I don't like the idea of someone with blinkers spitting on everything that he thinks might somehow rival De Gregori, nor do I appreciate anyone praising deplorable things, like the cheap covers I mentioned. It's yet another demonstration of how you, ajeje, want to make people believe that I said things that you instead invented. Stop it; no one is falling for that anymore.

I know what I'm talking about ajeje.. I'm referring to the Guccini that I've listened to and read.

de Gregori would have done well to retire after Buffalo Bill... the early albums are beautiful, no doubt, but after that it becomes a drag: the usual forced rhymes, pretentious lyrics, and MONOTONOUS music... often vulgar in many songs, this one seems to be called "Dammi da mangiare," a title that's oh-so-deep, and at one point, it says something like "come to the kitchen, I’ll cook for you"... how on earth can anyone even think to compare him to the Divino Faber? Or even to Guccini, for heaven's sake! The post-Buffalo Bill De Gregori is inferior even to Vecchioni, Graziani, Gaetano, Gaber, and anyone else you want to mention... he has gone from Serie A to Serie C, to use a phrase dear to our degregorianus... crap like dottor dobbermann, adelante volante- tavolo diavolo, collina assassina, scuola tagliola, pace piace, come on!!!! Are we in seventh grade???
