Sure, bonny, I haven't got myself tangled up in inconclusive discussions at all; I just responded to the pointless advice given to us by albi6 and to the direct attack from insalatina mista...

You are free to do all the gymnastics you want, just as I am free to call you a coward if you spit on the history of rock without adequate reasons, taking refuge in a rather questionable morality that would lead you to avoid staying on this page for unrefined discussions between me and another user on a topic (the cover) that has nothing to do with our conversation.

Dear tessio of a thousand faces, I just hope that your mystical experiences are not the product of your imagination and/or some googol-esque search.

"The Gun Club also paid tribute to Hendrix, but that doesn't add anything to the greatness of Jimi...<<this was my post: now can you tell me what relevance it has whether they officially paid tribute or not? You're a provocateur, and you're intruding into a conversation where you didn't have any business saying something that has nothing to do with it, that's all."

Listen, your insults don’t interest me nor do they affect me... I just want to say that it’s a well-established fact that the Gun Club did a cover of Little Wing, which is on the live album from Utrecht titled Ahmed's Wild Dream, released by Solid in '92. The same album was released by TripleX in America under the title Live in Europe. Now, whether this album is official or not, I couldn’t care less; that wasn't the point I was trying to make. I only wanted to say that a cover done by any band, in any context, live or studio, official or unofficial, doesn’t add anything to the value of the artist being covered. If you still don’t understand, it’s better for you to keep quiet, you wandering charlatan.

and don't call me Davide or brother anymore, actually, don't even talk to me if you want to sow discord for no reason... how stupid are you... "in what sense did the Gun Club pay tribute to Hendrix??" >> in the sense that one by one they committed suicide on his grave ahuhauhauhauh

Shut up, useless... yours was just an excuse... you're like so many others who have nothing to say and cling to insignificant details... I only said that they made that damn cover, and even if they were the little band down the street, I didn't bring them up first... you didn't understand a damn thing about the discussion, go back to the street at least you’ll earn your bread.

For those who haven't understood, the aim was to attribute value to the Ccr by saying that the Gun clubs covered them, to which I pointed out that they also covered Hendrix, but that doesn't affect my judgment of Jimi in the slightest. Then this Randolph shows up first claiming that it's not true they covered Hendrix, then realizes his mistake and says he's not on any official album... a bit like saying "the cabbage at snack time," I’d say!

What the fuck do you want? Now the cover of Little Wing shouldn't be considered a cover just because it’s not on any official album? Do you even know how much I care about "officiality"? You didn’t understand a damn thing about the conversation we were having; you’re just a sidewalk cock-sucker, go retire to a better life...
