Cop Shoot Cop Consumer Revolt
Voto:
Much better this review of yours than mine, which resembles the delirium of a semi-depraved visionary... I really like consumer revolt too, but my favorite remains Ask questions later. However, I don't agree on Reznor; there's a big difference between him and Manson.

But while I appreciate Bjork a lot, I don't know this album at all. The proposal is really interesting; a nice discovery.
Ghost In The Shell L'attacco dei cyborg: Original Soundtrack by Kenji Kawai

The first Ghost in the Shell is a must for all anime..... I would also add Spriggan to the list; both the comic and the movie are terrifyingly original, as are Arms, Berserk, and Blame. And anyway, Akira reigns supreme! ;)

I don't think most Debaserians do it this way, anyway everything's clear, no problem and welcome again!

No, lethe you didn't understand... the phrase "Sorry but for me Devin Townsend is a guru" was referring to my comment, in the sense that where there's Townsend, I'm also there breaking your balls with my comments. You don't like the three I gave you? I'm sorry, but if you want I can give you a five, it doesn't change anything for me; you don’t have to please anyone here, don't worry. I just gave the score that I think your review deserved, I didn't say it was awful! As for the album: I consider Terria a 5 just as you consider it a 4; everyone has their own parameters and their own ears to listen and judge; it’s logical that there are a hundred thousand other albums more beautiful and interesting than this one, but narrowing it down to metal music, Townsend has truly brought about revolutions both with SYL and with his solo project. Hey, these are opinions, I’m surely mistaken, but it’s nice that one thinks differently from another, don't you think?
Devin Townsend Terria

There's no doubt that Devin's solo project has a progressive flair, but prog in the sense of "continuous evolution," breaking down genres and new sounds... Terria is magnificent in this understanding of progressive music; I consider it perhaps the best of Devin, alongside Accelerated Evolution and Physicist. Sorry, but for me, Devin Townsend is a guru; anyway, great review for a first one. Welcome ;)

I didn’t know he was 33..... as for the rest, I don’t know what to tell you; after ten years of screaming like a madman, it’s time for Devin to settle down a bit. I won’t blame him if he wants to think first about family, calm himself down, and thus suppress the SYL..... it will be a huge disappointment for one of my favorite bands, but everyone makes their own life choices, and Devin definitely doesn’t give a damn about what others say! Anyway, I read that he wanted to take a long vacation after the release of the new black, to reflect a bit and take stock of the situation: maybe not everything is lost. To know what I think about Alien, I’ll refer you to the comment on my review of the new black ;) Just one thing: the essence of the Strapping sound is City, everything is in there.

Seifer, don't tell me this stuff, damn it! Anyway, this story about the breakup, Devin brings it up with every album (he's a bastard), but then there's always Gene Hoglan ready to dismantle everything and say that Devin changes his mind in a matter of 3 minutes. He might be getting on a bit (almost forty? who knows), but if that guy doesn't scream and act like a fool, he'll explode, I'm sure of it!

Ummm, I saw the Ocean Land video and it sparked my curiosity a bit... but if you tell me that the whole album is nicely contaminated, I might consider it.

And it seems to you that it's not enough, for a transitional album, to already have well-developed new ideas? Usually, this type of albums is arranged carelessly, with good but still confused ideas poorly organized: that doesn't seem to be the case with the new black. You mention various fillers: they are there, I don't deny it, but if you name Hope and Almost Again as "little gems," then what would the fillers be? Far Beyond Metal? Fucker? But if Fucker is the most fun and one of the most original tracks on the album! I've never heard strapping like this!... Anyway, these are just opinions, and I fully understand yours ;)
