Well, yes, in fact the Nile are not the best in terms of "digestibility"...

I'm sorry, but I don't understand what you mean... I mean, can't you digest entire albums? Do you have to listen to them in small doses?

Look, even copying a certain musical style for certain situations is really tough and challenging, because you risk being pathetic. If you then try to copy from Meshuggah... well, damn, it's definitely not for everyone and it's not easy at all! Here we are not talking about a clone band of Iron Maiden, I mean.

The first eponymous one was spectacular, truly unique. We'll see this, and great feedback.

No, I don’t think so, because Catch 33 is a closed, claustrophobic, angular, and above all, SELF-CONCLUDED album; the entire idea behind the record is perfectly expressed by the cover of the CD. It’s logical that it has many points in common with Nothing, but Catch takes from the latter to push even further, it wants to be a monument to madness, in short. Nothing is a difficult album, but something sticks in your head afterwards (the first times, a terrible headache!), you can follow it: damn, I sing rational gaze!!! Catch 33 is the exact opposite, or the opposite of nothing.

I understand your point of view..... however, it took me some time to figure out if Catch 33 was an atomic joke or a great album, then I "realized" that Meshuggah wanted to go beyond music, and it struck me quite a bit (it's a bit difficult to explain in words).

Salival copies are pretty rare to find, aren't they? Where did you get yours? God, I'm so envious! Anyway, to the Tool, five by default.

One of the most beautiful reviews I've read on de-baser. What an amazing person (and naturally musician) Nusrat must have been; is there anywhere online the translation of the songs included in this album? Congrats again fusillo.
