Fantastic. Rece and unique group; I only have voidwards, and few things are as heavy as that record. Congratulations again DarkNight.
Infernal Poetry Beholding The Umpure
Voto:
Infernal Poetry can truly claim the title of the best metal band in Italy, absolutely! They are super friendly and approachable guys (I had the chance to chat with them in person), as well as prepared and skilled musicians. They have just released an EP, and once again they have taken giant steps; each of their albums is different from the others, marking stages in an endless evolutionary journey... if you are really looking for something innovative in the Italian scene, IP are the band for you. Their only misfortune is being Italian, otherwise they would certainly be more famous and known by now. A band to support in any way possible.
Exploding Star Orchestra We Are All From Somewhere Else

Your recommendations are always excellent, and the review intrigued me quite a bit. Did our guys take inspiration from our national Francesco? "the stars are many, millions of millions...."
The Provenance Red flags
Voto:
If you haven't done it yet, listen to yourself as soon as possible how would you like to be spat at, fantastic disco, almost a bridge towards this last Red Flags. The Provenance have absolutely nothing to do with all those ultra-stereotyped groups like Nightwish; they go beyond this formal conception of metal music (which by now has little to do with metal).

Guys, I don’t know about you, but I was still shocked by the images shown during the performance of Rosetta Stoned......

The Mastodon were exceptional, even though I found them a bit cold that evening in Florence... in my opinion, they felt too much pressure to open for Tool, and the audience, from what I could see, didn’t put them at ease. I remember that at Gods in 2005 they gave a great performance, truly engaging and impactful. Anyway, kudos to the Mastodon.

I have never seen a concert like this in terms of intensity and atmosphere, almost mystical, that enveloped the arena... without a shadow of a doubt.
Mnemic Passenger
Voto:
mmmmm....frankly, I've only listened to the album a couple of times, but it didn't impress me. I don't think this album is a misstep, quite the opposite, but I also don't believe it's anything special. Mechanical Spin Phenomena had impressed me; you could feel that Mnemic was a young band with a lot to say at that time; but I also think that their downward trajectory was caused by Nuclear Blast, which sniffed out the golden goose it had in its hands and now wants to squeeze it for all it's worth....Damn, you can tell that this album leans toward overly melodic sounds, going as far as metalcore which (not coincidentally) is more in vogue now than ever; the violence and impact that Mnemic once had seem to have been forgotten since their first album. In Passenger, they wanted to come off as cooler, with clean vocals, mega productions, and guest appearances (Walker and Embury don't leave much of an impression in the end). It's a shame because they're very talented and know how to make great music, but they were tempted way too early, already on their third album!
Brutal Truth Need To Control

Damn the Brutal Truth.....among the best but also among the most underrated, in my opinion.
