Orange Goblin The Big Black
Voto:
Does anyone happen to know how the latest Healing Through Fire is? The Orange Goblin will be in Rome this week along with Colour Haze, Solace, and our own Doomraiser.....what a blast! Great review bartleboom.
Bulbous Creation You Won't Remember Dying
Voto:
Great recommendation for this unknown group... If you mention Hendrix and the incredible Sabbath among the influences, I have to check it out; I’m too fond of those rough and scratching sounds from the '70s.
Throbbing Gristle Part Two: The Endless Not

After reading a review like that, I rush to buy it.
Elegeion Through The Eyes Of Regret
Voto:
Lovelorn, your review is fantastic, I'll make sure to get the record; MisterNo, try these: Arcturus, Vintersorg (the solo project of the Borknagar's singer, but more experimental and prog), Type O' Negative, Katatonia (the early albums are doom metal with mostly scream vocals, try listening to Viva emptiness, tonight's decision, and the great cold distance—these are more atmospheric rock but still beautifully energetic with clean vocals), Anathema (the same thing goes for Katatonia, listen to Alternative 4, Judgement, A fine day to exit), My Dying Bride, Porcupine Tree (prog rock/metal but not flashy, indeed very atmospheric, at times slow, with many acoustic parts; moreover, the group's leader, Steve Wilson, produced Damnation by Opeth)......there would be millions of other bands, these are just a few that come to mind. Anyway, let me know if you liked the recommended bands.
Joel Schumacher The Number 23
Voto:
And anyway (still according to my useless opinion) the presence of the number 23 is just a pretext to say something else: basically the film talks about destiny, but above all about how the actions of the individual, done responsibly and with "clarity" (the very clarity that will gradually fade away from the protagonist throughout the film), are much more important.
Joel Schumacher The Number 23
Voto:
"There are no villains, and there are no conspiracies; in short, there is a lack of a real diabolical plot behind the events, and this is the disappointment that stands out at the end of the film." ------> "This is precisely the most interesting aspect of the film, in my opinion, of course; everything happens within the mind of the protagonist. Frankly, I find the ending truly mind-blowing, completely overturning any machinations you might have imagined. I find it very interesting in the end; I think it deserves to be watched."
Covenant In Times Before The Light
Voto:
The fact that at the time the Covenant received a nomination for a Grammy doesn’t seem like a necessarily negative thing to me; after all, we are talking about great professional musicians who know what they are doing and do it very well (considering who gets the Grammy today…). In my opinion, Nexus Polaris has little to do with electro-industrial; if anything, I find it to be more symphonic, with many keyboard inserts creating atmosphere. It’s still a pretty powerful album, very "metal" in its sounds, unlike Animatronic and S.E.T.I., which are a whole different story.
Peeping Tom Peeping Tom

My rating would be 4.5. Anyway, Your neighborhood spaceman is a spectacular song.

The album is really beautiful, a unique and highly personal reinterpretation of how pop might sound in the future (if we must talk about pop). And who cares, after all, we are still talking about Patton.

I liked Nexus Polaris.
