Quo Vadis Forever

You're not entirely wrong: I don't know how the bass sounds in Forever, but in Defiant Imagination, this instrument sometimes comes across as a bit overwhelming (though I believe this is mainly due to DiGiorgio's unconventional playing style). Still, for me, it’s truly a delight to hear him play… we're still talking about one of the best metal musicians of all time.

I only have Defiant Imagination, which is a really nice album... This Forever, after your heartfelt review, I would love to listen to it. DiGiorgio plays on Defiant Imagination, right?
Prong Power Of The Damager

@Dr.Fottermeier: you are absolutely right, if only we had more songs like that!
Death The Sound Of Perseverance

Individual Thought Patterns and Human for life!!! Those have been a real breath of fresh air in this field, something never heard before. TSOP is a beautiful album, but in my opinion, it’s a bit more conventional compared to the two mentioned, the quintessential CD for anyone who wants to start listening to Death.
John Martyn Solid Air

Great review, but I'm not familiar with the album in question... and I'm quite sorry but I will take care of it. From what I understand, it might be somewhat close to the works of Syd Barrett (but perhaps the latter is more psychedelic...)
Soilwork Sworn To A Great Divide

I'm unsure whether to listen to it or not; I'm afraid of a bitter disappointment... Anyway, A Predator's Portrait is the best of Soilwork in my opinion.

I've never listened to them, but I believe that (and I gather this from your review, especially from the last three lines) bands like this are only good for music. Congratulations on the suggestion!
Prong Power Of The Damager

Prong were fundamental, no doubt about it; always a step ahead of others; bands like Fear Factory and the likes absolutely owe thanks to Tommy Victor and his Prong! I don't quite agree that in the beginning Prong weren't very popular: in the early '90s, they were quite famous and followed, thanks to the visibility granted by Sony (which distributed their records); it was only later that they seemed to fade away, in my opinion due to the rise of other trends and fashions. Anyway, Beg to Differ remains the best for me!
Bonobo Days To Come

All of this is very interesting.
Don Caballero What Burns Never Returns

And do you think Battles can be defined as math-rock? I believe so, even if they’re not very rock. Don Caballero: a band of crazies.
