Congratulations Emanuele, you always review great albums from bands I really like. I'm giving this a 4, but I believe Neuraxis will shine even more with their next albums, Trilateral Progression and Truth Beyond, in my opinion.

In my opinion, Prominence and Demise is not a five. Compared to The Imaginary Direction of Time, it falls quite short... that doesn’t mean that the latter is a record with no merits! ;) About the prog discourse: by now, the term prog has taken on such different and particular connotations that clinging to the usual bands, the usual sounds, and the classic idea of prog metal is totally pointless and limiting. Stipe, if I were you, I would give a listen to the bands suggested by Emanuele: people with real balls, making music that isn’t egocentric and self-referential, perfectly embodying the spirit of progressive: that of always going beyond (something that Dream Theater and Symphony X, for example, do not do). To that long list, I would also add: Arcturus, Borknagar, Cynic, Vintersorg, our own Ephel Duath, and if we want, also Meshuggah...

Simply: I want it!

I imagine Pamparius you are referring to On the corner; in that case, I completely agree with you, even though I think that in that decade Miles dropped some small hints for the future path of trip-hop (back then, I believe rap wasn’t even being talked about yet). I view Doo-bop as the album that sets the stage for all those sounds (and I even made it rhyme!)

Nothing new to say about the film compared to what others have said. What's the name of Burton's new movie?
