Jorge Luis Borges L'Aleph

"Borges is not for you": all the more reason to read it... let everyone decide for themselves whether this book has conveyed something to them or not (beyond their understanding, which can probably only be revealed by the author himself; but if you have emphasized the character of "incomprehensibility," it doesn't mean you've already understood a little something ;)

Very interesting

...even the land if you want ;) but I realize that the sea comes closer to the atmospheres of the album you tried to describe.
Bloodbath The Fathomless Mastery
Voto:
Every now and then, a little jump into the past is necessary, if only to remember one’s roots: Bloodbath doesn't have a gram of originality, but they’ve managed to capture more than anything the atmosphere that a certain musical genre like death metal emanates, and this can only be achieved with an unconditional love for a specific type of music... the technique and production have done the rest. For me, their best.
Carl Craig & Moritz Von Oswald Recomposed

I have read many enthusiastic reviews for this work, and I will get it as soon as possible. In fact, the more modern currents of electronic music have fused with rock, jazz, etc., but classical music still seemed indifferent to certain blends... luckily, some works prove how seemingly distant musical (and attitudinal, if we want) worlds can coexist: I believe there must always be a certain respect from both sides (as Suonoonous rightly said).
Ephel Duath Through My Dog's Eyes

@ morpheo: thanks for the clarification! @Hell: maybe start with The Painter's Palette, but don't rush and listen to it calmly, it's an album that needs its time to be appreciated (by those who want to listen, of course...)

...and they're also under earache! In my opinion, one of the best Italian bands, alongside sick people like Zu, Psychofagist, etc.... I've always wondered what their name means, does anyone know?

I will follow the advice, thank you!
Heinrich Ignaz Franz von Biber Das 15 Rosenkranz-Sonaten.
Voto:
...I don't know who Biber is either, and frankly this review hasn't filled that gap for me, nor has it piqued my curiosity to explore the topic further: in my opinion, it would have been more interesting to read your impressions and sensations that such a particular and profound listening experience can provoke...it's no coincidence that we're talking about sacred music, music that aims to elevate the spirit toward something unknown. Simply put: fewer technical descriptions and more emotions ;)
