Hi Alia, dear, I was obviously joking in my comment about what drugs you’ve taken.. I won’t delve into technical matters because the technique I studied I left behind a lonnnnng time ago, and it’s not like I learned anything too groundbreaking (aside from boring vocal exercises, a bit of diction knowledge, and some theory) and my approach to singing has been more instinctive than studied and reasoned (even though I figured out the technique on my own by researching on my own terms).. Also, let’s face it, only a few can afford singing lessons.. I still find that the girl in question isn’t exactly a phenomenon; the “monsters” are elsewhere, she has a pleasant voice, fairly powerful and with a decent technique, perfect for the genre she proposes. I’m doing well anyway, dear, I hope you are too..

Beyoncé a shrill and ungainly voice? I agree with everything Count Desade has said, but to say that she has a shrill and ungainly voice, you must have taken some heavy drugs for sure, Alia.. At least we must acknowledge that she has "the voice," for crying out loud! The fact that she makes catchy tunes for brain-dead folks is a different story.. But to claim she can't sing seems like a real blasphemy to me. The review is very well written, though..
