Wolfmother Cosmic Egg

I quote @HEAVEN IN BLACK with the only difference that: the single "New Moon Rising" did NOT appeal to me, while I haven't listened to the album. Anyway, if I had to bet on a rock band, I would definitely NOT bet on this group! 3 because I'm not a fan of "Gli Wolfmother."

Let’s think about it for a moment: let’s say I’m an artist, one of those who studied and graduated from the conservatory in singing (but not only), I’ve drilled my brains out for years with solfeggio, I know every single note and scale by heart and I can read the scores of any piece or derive them without even looking at the sheet music (I’ve studied for years, damn, what’s a Do, Re, Sol #, etc.), therefore I can consider myself a musician in all respects and I have the misguided idea of living off MY music, proposing something unprecedented.. Let’s say I’m an artist like, for example, John De Leo, not exactly inclined to what the market offers.. I would like to spread MY stuff, have as many people listen as possible, play around Italy, etc.. Now, if I record a demo, I do it at my own expense (a lot), then I have to send it, also at my own expense, around the record labels (who won’t give a damn about me, partly due to these famous talent shows) and to specialized magazines that might give me good reviews but the story ends there.. So I look for places to perform, but in 95% of the venues, they want people who do covers or tributes (Ligabue and Vasco above all), so I ask myself: where the hell am I supposed to play? I go to independent music festivals, really cool places, but the visibility is about + or - zero.. Despondent, there's nothing left for me to do but find a job like many others to make ends meet, or compromise and try my luck on X Factor, get on a stage, with a BACKING TRACK (damn, I’ve studied for years to sing karaoke), a pathetic dance routine in the back, a stupid host asking me idiotic questions while constantly touching my arm (and I hold back from punching him in the face), singing crappy songs by other people that I might not even like, I absolutely don’t feel MINE, that have driven me nuts with that “Quella sua maglietta fina.. Fiori rosa fiori di pesco..” Hoping to win for what? A record deal and an album knowing that I’ll be forgotten in about a year because some other idiot will be the next winner and all eyes will be on him? Is this the talent show? Is this the music they’re offering me in 2009 in Italy? People singing covers to have a year of success or to end up on Buona Domenica doing background vocals and singing those damn covers? Good for you.. I’ll stick with John De Leo and hope more like him come up.

5 all my life to Disintegration! The review is too long, a score for the effort.

Considering that number 1816 has also been CONDEMNED for false testimony precisely on the subject in question. Who could number 1816 be? Great prizes for those who guess!

As someone has already pointed out, I haven't seen any reference to number 1816.... It seems to me to be a serious oversight.

Well, watching the performance on YouTube of "Back in Black" (pointed out to me by a friend as "interesting"), this Marco sounds to me like a hysterical queen (with all due respect to queens). A vocal cross between Prince and Anastacia... Unique, perhaps a new circus phenomenon to be exploited while it lasts... The show.. Well.. I might have seen a few episodes of the first season out of curiosity, wondering what the hell Ventura was doing as a judge and then having proof of her usefulness like a tamarind popsicle at the North Pole. Stop.. I didn’t even know they had made other seasons.. For goodness' sake.. Let’s be clear, this is perhaps the least bad (as we are used to in Italy) for a "talent show" (?!?), but seeing four clowns doing covers.. I don’t understand the usefulness of it. It would be nice if there were a competition with pieces written directly by the participants, to see if there is truly any talent (just because someone has a nice voice doesn’t mean they must have talent; the world is full of good and excellent singers). But if you don't propose songs by Battisti & Co.. People couldn’t care less; we are still stuck to these artists and we will never shake them off.. "Same beach, same sea," but please. The only one is Morgan (aside from the look and the unmanageable hair) who tries to introduce some valid pieces. He deserves credit for trying to modernize and make interesting a show that would have little to say without his presence. The review is well written. I can’t give it the maximum rating precisely for the unfortunate theme addressed.

It's a shame that you sometimes get writer's block... But if that's what comes out when you're stuck, then go ahead as much as you want.. (for a limited time though!)
