Some say it was a heart attack while he was taking a bath, due to too many excesses... But it was all a plot by Manzarek.

Me too? I just said that I don't like them, not that they're not good...

I believe the de-reviewer tried to create a psychological profile of the good Jonathan Davis. The sentence structure and use of punctuation, in fact, leave something to be desired; some personal interpretation is required.

Dear De-reviewer: your last comment was great.

You have an awesome nickname. The album, what can I say, was the last Korn record I enjoyed (and it was the second...). I always preferred the debut, that one really left me speechless back then.. I was already prepared for this, I knew what I was getting into. Great album anyway.

Malmsteen used to say, a real jerk but an excellent guitarist (only technically, mind you), someone who's a pain in everyone's ass, but on comments like this I can only agree:
John Petrucci, Dream Theater "Pull Me Under"
M: "I think I know who it is… I'm not entirely sure… like Satriani uses the humbucker, which I don't like, it makes the music too cold. It's too distorted and the use of the Floyd Rose is over the top. I'm not saying it's bad, but it doesn't match my tastes. I don't think I'm wrong in saying it's Dream Theater. It's well played, but I have a problem with this band. It's important for a group to have a good guitarist, but if that guitarist is very technical, the band must remain solid behind him. The other musicians need to ensure the continuity of the song while the guitarist expresses himself. But if everyone is trying to show off without stopping, it all goes to hell. There's competition in this group. Not everyone goes in the same direction; everyone tries to draw attention to themselves and the result? A total mess! That's what it is for me: pure chaos! Not everyone can be the showman in a group. The drummer needs to keep time and not steal the show. You can't build a piece on a drum solo. The rhythmic foundations need to be very solid. They don't impress me at all!"
So, the Dream Theater may be the most capable musicians on the face of the earth in the eyes of many, and they surely are capable, who doubts it?!? But honestly, they have always given me the same impression that good Yingwie has… De gustibus…
And then: ENOUGH ALREADY! DAMN IT!

The question arises spontaneously: after seven reviews, was there really a need for an eighth? It seems so... Thus, the Morrison issue sparks conflicting opinions; some believe he should have only written poetry books and stayed away from music (even though music is the best way to accompany poetry), while others view Morrison as a great blues singer and an excellent performer, as well as an idol to be revered.
Personally, I consider him the true icon of Rock. Who better than Morrison embodies the sacred triad? I see him as a highly valid interpreter, as well as a good singer (even though he struggled to stand, which I consider a merit, not a shame), despite not having a powerful voice like Robert Plant's or a cutting one like Ian Gillan's. His voice was the only suitable medium to accompany the music of his bandmates, no doubt about it. It left a mark; it wasn't constructed or false, it fully reflected the man Morrison was. Sex, drugs, and rock 'n roll (or rock 'n blues, you decide). As for Manzarek, I can only agree with you in terms of creativity and compositional attributes, but let's be honest: would the Doors have had all that success without that "drunken" Jim? Would they have been the icon of several generations without the hallucinatory shaman? I believe not...

Interesting, unique voice. Thank you!
