Bernie Leadon Mirror
Voto:
Over the top!
It's not a masterpiece, though. The title track is, however.
And "Life in the Fast Lane" is a badass blues rock, guitar-wise brilliantly executed.
The best-selling Eagles album, however, is not that one, but rather (rightly) the "Greatest Hits" from the four previous albums, the ones where the real glory of the Eagles lies.
The ones with Bernie Leadon present.

Great Splinter.
What a beautiful cover!
It Bites The Tall Ships
Voto:
I don't see this excellence of Once Around the World compared to the other It Bites albums. It's the one with the moderately successful single that at the time boosted it up, but that's about it.
Prefab Sprout Two Wheels Good
Voto:
I own "Two Wheels Good," the American version of "Steve McQueen," whose family at the time did not allow the use of the relative's name in the USA. The American version has three additional bonus tracks, which, as often happens, are nothing essential. The album is, quite simply, one of the best pop records of all time. Masterpieces included: "Faron," "Bonny," "Appetite," "When Love Breaks Down," "Goodbye Lucille," "Desire As."

It's jazz, come on. This Canterbury stuff doesn't really impact much. I'm attached to the closing track, Hector's House, which made me discover the challenging phrasing of poor Allan Holdsworth, a martian.
Eagles Desperado
Voto:
Desperado is by far the best work of the Eagles. A strange fate for the band's first four albums, which were not extraordinarily successful (the fourth, "One of These Nights," is an exception) but then incredibly united by the staggering sales of the "Greatest Hits" from 1975 that features three tracks from the first album, two from Desperado, two from the third, and three from "One of These Nights."
Desperado remains in my top ten, also due to a sort of formative bond: I learned to play acoustic guitar with it. Its masterpieces: Doolin Dalton, Tequila Sunrise, Desperado, Bitter Creek.
