The Who Who's Next

Great. The amazing thing, in my experience, related to this record is that it took me years to realize that in the photo the four had just peed. I hadn't even noticed the stains on the monolith and the clear gestures of zipping up... ;)

Well done, at your age I still had to get to the Who... Seriously, great job. But, what a pity, I would have loved Keith Moon's slipper... ;)

Ah, I see you know him well... I deduce that you hang out with him, then... Look, fine (and then I'm going to sleep, because tomorrow I have 9 hours on the train waiting for me, not just one): I signed up the day before yesterday, and I published a review (Divine Comedy). And you? Who between you and me talks about music then? Until yesterday, you were bragging about not being registered (a necessary condition to publish reviews, I would like to remind you) and you come and tell ME to talk about music? Do you realize the immense nonsense you’re saying, or do your neurons refuse to function? You contradict yourself and don’t even notice it, and I’m the sick one? Where have you talked about music? Tell me, and I will be silent forever. Talking about the Inno di Mameli is talking about "music"? Unless you did it under another name, which, aside from clearly indicating schizophrenia, proves what someone said about you, that you use more than one account to annoy others... Let’s do this: let’s stop this back and forth and let others decide who among us is the biggest fool and the most rude, and who is talking nonsense. Hoping that others have something better to do and ignore my invitation... But I know you will respond with another "f*** off," which, aside from showing rudeness, also signifies your complete lack of arguments for two days. If you want to continue to make a fool of yourself, you are welcome. I am no longer playing this game.

Ah, why did you mention music? Strange, I don't even see your reviews here... Look, I'm not sending you where you sent me because, as I already emphasized, unlike you, I'm polite. If I'm not "backing down," it’s because it's not just you in here, but also other people I would like to discuss things with peacefully. Stop feeling like the center of attention because, like me and everyone else, you're nobody. I have invited you several times to discuss privately instead of cluttering this forum and bothering others. You didn’t want to do that, claiming you don’t care (yet you keep responding to me, hmm...) so you have little to complain about: as long as you poke me, I'll respond. Politely, as you can see.

Yes, you are right. I’m afraid to make a decision. Happy now? You continue to insist on being in other people's heads, but who do you think you are? God? You are awfully arrogant; get down from that little pedestal you've built for yourself and come back among us mortals instead of judging people you don’t know. If I had told you I vote left, you would have called me a filthy communist; if I tell you I vote blank, I’m someone who is afraid to make decisions... So I deduce that you only want me to vote right. What a great respect you have for ideas different from yours. At this point, why don’t you just shut yourself in a pen with those who think like you? But I'm sure that after fifteen minutes everyone will want to leave because they can’t stand it anymore. I talk about politics because I have been actively involved since I was fifteen. I voted left until just the other day; this time I had doubts and voted blank. I think that’s a perfectly respectable choice, made in good conscience and with knowledge of the facts. But your mental insignificance, which knows nothing about me—let alone my political history—keeps judging my actions based on nothing. Even if I weren’t able to make decisions, why should you care? Are you my mother, my brother, who gives you the right to express judgments about me? Based on what? What I say here? But as far as you’re concerned, I could be an ultra-fascist who’s been enjoying making fun of you for two days just to see how far human stubbornness can go (but you’ve already done that yourself). Stupidity, like intelligence, has no political color. If you want to keep saying that I'm arrogant, go ahead. But the difference between you and me is fundamental: I don’t call people I don’t know “idiots,” I’ve never said you’re crap because you vote right, I stick to what you say and, if I were you, I would talk less because you are making a fool of yourself in front of everyone. And not because you’re right-wing, but because it is obvious to everyone that you are in this community just to stir up trouble for everyone else. If I hadn’t been here, it would have happened with someone else. The internet is full of people like you who enjoy insulting others. The difference between you and me lies in manners: I have not insulted anyone, I’ve never allowed myself to judge anyone, I’m here because I believed (foolishly) that I could have dialectical discussions with people, even those with thoughts different from mine, why not. You, on the other hand, have been calling everyone here an idiot, moron, idiot, and whatever else for two days. Of course, you have the right to say whatever you want because the rules here allow it. But the arrogance and condescension with which you approach others is unbearable. I, who unfortunately have an immeasurable trust in the human species, continue to talk to you in the hope of establishing a dialogue with you. I can’t bring myself to insult you, to call you an idiot as others do; it’s not part of who I am. Because I don’t even think that way. So please stop expressing definitive judgments about me (or anyone else), because you have no idea who I am, what I do in life, what I think, and so on.

Casting a blank vote means expressing yourself. You have clearly conveyed that you don't feel comfortable voting for either party, but unlike those who choose not to vote, you are fulfilling your duty as a citizen. I would never give up voting, simply because to me it is a duty. But one also has the right to be dissatisfied with both parties; where is it written that you must vote for one of the two? You talk about democracy, yet deny something that is part of democracy: the right to declare yourself for neither party. I do this responsibly; otherwise, the act of voting wouldn't include a blank ballot... Review your civic education, my dear. Once again, you speak and say nonsense.

Then I think you're just bitter because your political side, after losing the elections, got a sound thrashing with the referendum. Even in the city of Milan, the majority voted no, right after Moratti's victory. I would reflect on the fact that the center-right got blackmailed well by the League and that the Italians couldn't care less about devolution.

For the record, well: voting blank means voting. Not going to vote is when you don’t show up at the polls. In the first case, you fall into the percentage of voters; in the second, you do not. Brush up a bit on basic civic education, you really need it...

You're right, okay. Well done. You're the hero of all of us. I want a statue of you, I've already told you...
