I completely agree with Bartleboom about this band and the evaluation of this album. Moreover, in my opinion, they win the prize for the group with the most hideous covers, just barely beating out Monster Magnet.

Agapito Malteni is a small masterpiece of Italian songwriting. The rest includes good songs with interesting arrangements, which I believe is his best album. Then there’s a slow but irreversible decline.
Jeff Beck You Had It Coming

I own Blow By Blow, Beck-Ola, and Wired, and especially the latter, I consider magnificent: it sounds exquisite and, more importantly, has a very recognizable style. I had always heard bad things about this album, but if you say they are the Can ante-litteram, I think I’ll have to give it a listen. Great writing (as usual).

For now, I've only heard The Arcitect: they don't even sound like themselves anymore. I miss the good old days of Worst Case Scenario, sigh.
Ryan Adams 48 Hours

Ryan Adams really disgusts me.
Grand Funk Railroad On Time

one of my absolute favorite hard rock-blues bands. the sound of the bass in their records is perfect.
Second Hand Death May Be Your Santa Claus

I wasn't really thrilled by it: too many keyboards weighed down the listening experience, making the compositions feel "pompos." However, they certainly demonstrate inventiveness. They remind me of Zappa, not in terms of music (which has little or nothing in common with him), but for the parodic approach to certain tracks.
Killer Kane Band Mr. Cool

beautiful, one of the most beautiful pages in here, short and extraordinarily effective. among the favorites.
Robert Johnson King of the Delta Blues Singers

influential to the history of rock (not just blues rock) as Galileo was to science. receive it directly among the favorites.
