Buffalo Springfield Buffalo Springfield Again

If instead of Furay's tracks (fairly anonymous, if not downright irritating) there were others penned by Stills and Young, this album would also be of superior beauty compared to Deja Vu. Expecting To Fly and Broken Arrow are unsurpassable peaks.
Christopher Nolan The Dark Knight

I saw it the other night and I have to say that from how it was described to me, I expected better. In my opinion, not only does this film lack a story compared to Burton's, but also to other Nolan films like The Prestige. The only thing I can praise is Ledger's performance, which I think is even superior to Nicholson's, especially because he doesn't overdo it and acts believably. The rest is just terrible boredom.

but I didn't mean to take it out on the genres chosen by the reviewer; I hadn't even looked at them beforehand. If they had put dream pop... I meant to say that, in my opinion, it's hard to categorize them into just one genre.

Cute little disc, but nothing more. In the second part of their career, when they stop making catchy tunes for the radio and the artfully created controversies, they will do muuuuuuch better.

... and Bowie always acknowledged what his influences were. It was music journalism that attributed things to him (like the invention of electronics and various other embellishments) that he actually didn’t do. He simply made a contribution (an important one).

I don't believe that Bowie's primary interest was ever originality, and in my opinion, he created a successful musical blend (even excellent for me), combining the experimentation of Neu with the catchiness of Kraftwerk. He certainly sensed what was happening interestingly in Germany and got "his hands on it" with his typical entrepreneurship and shrewdness, but I don't think that diminishes the work. Anyway, the review is well-argued.

To whose benefit?
The Cramps Songs the Lord Taught Us

A milestone of the genre (what genre? New Wave? Punk?). Just listen to Teenage Werewolf to understand how extraordinary they are.
Henry Cow Legend

Since the proposal was very interesting and they (as already mentioned) are considered legends, in my humble opinion, you could have done more. Anyway, good job on the choice.
Franco Battiato Fetus

My favorite album from Battiato's early period. I really don’t understand why this would be "a dud".... who knows. It doesn’t seem to me like his self-titled album (that one definitely could be if you’re not used to avant-garde music).
