Mastered the other day. They had already warned me that it wasn't the best, but I wanted to try it myself. And indeed, I really don't like anything about it: they're incredibly soft in this concert. And Gilmour's little songs... well, they're nothing short of abominable. In my opinion, they would have been better off disbanding, I doubt after Waters' departure because then they were pitiful. But then: comparing it to live at Pompeii is blasphemy! That was truly amazing. I give it a 3 only because they are Pink Floyd, and the name says it all.

But when will you understand that the so-called grunge doesn’t exist! It was chosen by the press to classify that monstrous wave of bands that had sprung up from the northwest of the USA! For example, Nirvana and Soundgarden are completely different groups!

a bit chilly, but detailed. the album is the only one I have by Pearl Jam. very beautiful. my favorite grunge band is Soundgarden (I'm rediscovering them now after having labeled them as "aging poorly") but in this album they hold their own.
