Pasolini: my favorite writer, and also sociologist (in his case, it fits), excellent director: Uccellacci e Uccellini when I saw it for the first time (at 12 years old) left me almost speechless: unique.

Generational films are my weak spot; there's nothing I can do about it. When I say generational, I don't mean Notte prima degli esami, but rather American Graffiti, Marrakech Express, or this beautiful film by Scola. There's a sadness in some moments...

The Italian noir I prefer is "I milanesi ammazzano al sabato," by Duccio Tessari, also based on the homonymous novel by Scerbanenco (read "Traditori di tutti," it’s worth it). About the film: beautiful. Moschin is a very talented actor, and the atmosphere is perfect.
