I give it a 2 only because Roby Facchinetti and Dj Francesco exist, but the aforementioned song is frighteningly flat. Perhaps Gaetano, who had a beautiful voice, would have made it a bit less vomit-inducing, but Paolo Rossi is a rather insignificant performer. As for Rino: I'm not a big fan and sometimes I find him quite boring musically, even though he managed with the lyrics. Now they want to portray him as an absolute genius. Well...

I also believe it is the most beautiful of Leone's westerns (the best overall is Once Upon a Time in America). I find the plot to be purely complementary to the stunning visuals and a magnificent soundtrack. Leone does not disappoint.

the film is a masterpiece: "wendy, i'm home" (i like to insert snippets of the script). i know that Duvall had numerous nervous breakdowns and fainting spells during filming due to personal issues and that her relationship with Kubrick was a bit turbulent.
