Dario Argento Suspiria
Voto:
When I first saw him, two feelings prevailed: disappointment and unease. One part of me was scared to death, while the other thought it was a load of crap (the effective photography saved it, at least partially). It’s clear that bloody horror isn’t really my genre, so I prefer all of Argento's previous works.
Alfred Hitchcock La Finestra Sul Cortile
Voto:
I love almost everything by Hitchcock from "The 39 Steps" to "Family Plot," and even in his missteps, I always find something innovative and enjoyable. But this is not a minor film; for me, this is history...
Federico Fellini La Dolce Vita
Voto:
Alright, we're talking about a masterpiece here (but 8 1/2 is 8 1/2).
Aldo, Giovanni & Giacomo, Massimo Venier Tre Uomini E Una Gamba

I agree with the reviewer's opinion: not a bad movie.
Ridley Scott Blade Runner
Voto:
Scott has made enoooooooooormous blunders and a handful of films so stunning that one can’t help but wonder if it’s really him behind the camera. There aren’t enough adjectives to describe Blade Runner.
George Lucas Star Wars

so many memories...

On this, I see you agree, Björk: it’s just that I notice how too often people try to make the discussion about Hitler a kind of taboo, on which you can’t say anything other than he was a monster if you don’t want to be accused of revisionism. And I say this as someone who finds himself at the completely opposite end of Hitler in terms of political ideas (if he had any political ideas). Then, that even people like Stalin were frustrated individuals and did terrible things is beyond doubt.
Gabriele Salvatores Mediterraneo

I have a soft spot for Salvatores' films, what can I do?
Oliver Hirschbiegel La Caduta
Voto:
The film is truly beautiful, and I don't understand the accusations that have been leveled against it (even the one of revisionism). When the discussion turns to Hitler, one always finds themselves on a minefield: to me, he has always seemed like a frustrated individual, a little painter, a person with no skills, no virtues. An amalgamation of contradictions that the film has merely highlighted.
